(A) TEXTILE-TOUR
The manufacture and use of various forms of fabulous and exotic textile varieties in India can be traced back to the Indus Valley period. Textiles were the major attraction that formed the bulk of the trade with Western and Eastern countries, not to forget the silk route. Roman documents mention the export of fabrics from India to Europe around the sixth century A.D.

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) Silk - The Brocade textiles of Varanasi is an extra weft of gold thread runs across the warp with the motifs picked up in silk thread and jewel like colors worked in the style of Minakari in jewellery.

Kancheepuram intertwines of Tamil Nadu - The silk Sarees are woven with fine silk with contrasting border and Pallu woven with a variety of Zari motifs such as Rudraksham, Malli Moggu, Gopuram, etc. There are other areas in Tamil Nadu that are famous for their silk weaves such as Dharmavaram, Arm. Tanjore is famous for the all over gold woven Sarees specially to be used for temples.

Bandhej of Gujarat - With unique fabrics like Bandhej (tie and dye fabric also known as Bandhani in Rajasthan) made from superfine cotton Mulmul to the famous Patola silk from Patan, the textiles in the state stand out for their craftsmanship.


(B) AGRICULTURAL TOURS
Agriculture in India is as diverse as the country’s history.
